Young Vic旗下的戲領先群雄 共拿下11項提名
單一製作霸主則由Memphis the Musical以9項提名拿下
不同於前年秋冬檔季的音樂劇在Olivier提名階段就全數落馬
(搞得我去年年初還趕著要把新戲看完免得Olivier都不認得 結果居然一齣都沒入圍...)
去年年底新上的音樂劇幾乎雄霸了整個入圍名單
Memphis, Beautiful, Sunny Afternoon都是從劇評到入圍都頗受專業人士青睞的新戲
有些可惜沒看到後兩齣, 主要是Sunny Afternoon的劇院離BOM太近, 每次走到那附近就想再試一次BOM樂透....(這什麼理由)
Beautiful則是因為當時還在preview階段, 沒敢輕易嘗試, 沒想到我走了之後劇評出爐根本是一面倒的高分評價T_T

Memphis好樣的! Killian是第一次被提名, 另兩位也同時入圍男配, Olivier評審與我所見略同, Memphis絕對是當前西區最有爆發力的一組cast, 很希望今年Killian能夠拿下, 他的表現絕對值得一座Olivier
Beverley拿獎機率就小一點, 她的演技認真說起來還是差了一點
西貢小姐雷聲大雨點小
枉費製作人撈麥造勢再造勢, 最終只入圍兩項, 包含Jon Jon是唯一入圍的演員
這也是我一直在嫌棄這次復排cast的, 除了Jon Jon, 正選的其他幾個演技通通不及格

2015年Olivier Awards頒獎典禮將於4/12同樣在Royal Opera House舉行
今年沒有對外售票, 也同樣沒有現場直播, 在倫敦的人可至Covent Garden欣賞戶外演出與大螢幕轉播, 海外的朋友則只能依靠Olivier官方twitter及時報導, 或是等待典禮結束後由ITV剪接出來的精華版
對典禮本身倒是不用有太多期待, 在這方面Olivier是完全無法跟Tony比的, 只期望今年這個獎依然能給真正用心的製作與演員更多應得的肯定!
