英國劇場唯一專業獎Olivier Awards於三月六日公布2018年入圍名單
毫無意外的，去年年底聲勢浩大轉戰西區的美國音樂劇【Hamilton】是入圍最大贏家，一共拿下13個提名，創下了Olivier Awards的歷史記錄，包含最佳音樂劇男配、最佳新音樂劇、最佳男主與最佳導演等多項大獎，僅男配一項就有三位演員同時入圍

製作最大贏家依然是Maria Friedman的妹妹Sonia Friedman Production，拿下18項提名，雖然較2017年的31項提名略為遜色，但依然位居各製作之冠
劇院最大贏家則是National Theatre，四個製作共獲得22項提名，第二名為這些年做得風生水起的小劇場Almeida Theatre，在藝術總監Rupert Goold的執掌下兩個製作共獲得7項提名
演員個人獎部分，最佳舞台劇男主角星光熠熠，Andrew Garfield以【美國天使】精湛演技入圍，挑戰Andrew Scott佳評如潮的【哈姆雷特】
導演獎也競爭激烈，NT名導Dominic Cooke以音樂劇【Follies】入圍，並列競爭的尚有【美國天使】導演Marianne Elliott，【Ink】導演Rupert Goold，【Hamilton】導演Thomas Kail，以及【The Ferryman】導演Sam Mendes，堪稱今年懸念最高的一個獎項
今年最大的遺珠，大概要算是【Follies】兩位男主角Philip Quast和Peter Forbes未獲提名
值得一提的是近年來劇場佳作不斷的Imelda Staunton以【Who's Afraid Virginia Wolf?】與【Follies】同時入圍最佳舞台劇女主角與最佳音樂劇女主角，預測至少可以摘下一座后冠，這同時已是Imelda生涯第13次獲得Olivier Awards提名，表現相當驚人
得獎預測方面，今年普遍預測【Hamilton】雖然提名聲勢驚人，但在獲獎上應該不會拔得頭籌，除了同項同時入圍的狀況較多，也別忘了Stephen Sondheim是專業劇評永遠無法抗拒的愛，【Follies】最後的獲獎很可能可以超越【Hamilton】
頒獎典禮資訊
2018年Olivier Awards頒獎典禮將於英國倫敦時間4月8日傍晚四點開始紅毯直播(台灣時間4月8日晚上11點)，音樂劇女星Carrie Hope Fletcher將同步進行後台訪問
七點典禮正式開始，今年由Catherine Tate擔綱主持，典禮進行中照例沒有任何管道可同步收看(翻白眼)，請大家繼續(一如既往地)守好Twitter和FB的即時訊息...
但在晚間10:20後，ITV將播出典禮精華版，海外粉絲則可以透過Olivier官方FB的影片收看

今年目前確定會在頒獎典禮中表演的劇組為【42nd Street】、【Everybody's Talking About Jamie】、【Follies】、【Girl From the North Country】、【Young Frankenstein】
此外，今年也同時要慶祝【West Side Story】六十周年，以及【Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat】五十周年，Chita Rivera, Andy Karl, Adam J. Bernard, Jason Donovan, Lee Mead, Danielle Hope等都會有相應的慶祝表演
